TOURIST VISA

• Please fill in the application form online at: https://www.visa.gov.bd
• The information will be inserted in the MRV, so please fill in the form carefully. The Embassy will not be responsible for any mistakes on the visa. Print the application form, sign it (for minors a parent can sign) and glue one photo on the provided space.
• Scan and send the followings to the e-mail address consular.addisababa@mofa.gov.bd :

1. The application form
2. Ticket or flight particulars and hotel booking
3. An invitation letter from Bangladesh (must be signed) in English or bangla, explaining the travel purpose, the relation with the applicant, precise address and phone number in Bangladesh . If you don’t have an invitation letter, please provide your own letter explaining why you are travelling, what are you going to visit, length etc.
4. Copy of the passport of the person who signed the invitation letter.

• The day of the appointment, you must bring all the original documents (application form with photo + an extra photo not attached or glued and the 2 passports), the required photocopies (passports, tickets, letters) and 50 USD cash (per passport).'

 BUSINESS VISA (B – E1)

3. A letter in English from the company/institution where the person works requesting the visa, with the company profile.

• The day of the appointment, you must bring all the original documents (application form with photo + an extra photo not attached or glued and the 2 passports), the required photocopies (passports, tickets, letters) and 50 USD cash (per passport)

‘E’ (Employment) VISA

2. Request letter from BOI (Board of Investment) in Bangladesh
3. An invitation letter from Bangladesh (if available)
4. A letter in English from the company/institution where the person works requesting the visa, with the company profile (if available).

‘N’ (NGO) VISA

2. Request letter from the NGO Bureau in Bangladesh (please provide original letter or send us a scanned copy of the original letter)
3. A letter from the NGO/institution in Bangladesh requesting the visa (with the persons details etc)
4. A letter from the NGO/institution where the person works requesting the visa (with the persons details etc)
